She did say in one interview or something that actually the press started calling her Bowie (of course it isn't, and never was, her real surname as it isn't David's either), and she did try to get them to stop calling her that but it simply would not work.

Actually, that's quite true. I haven't changed my username, not once. It's the nickname i've been constantly changing, and the nickname is what is visible to other users.
Every time i go to edit my profile in the 'members' section, they ask me my username, which has remained unchanged all this time.

I think the rift was caused because, unlike David, who has always kept a diplomatic silence about his marriage to Angie since the divorce, Angie has spoken about it on numerous occasions and has also been behind two embarrasing books on the subject.

I thought his son was part of the reasons Bowie wanted to quit drugs in the first place, and that he didnt want him subjected to all that? Thats what I heard anyway, I really don't know. I'm not sure where I read it but didn't Angie leave Duncan alone one Christmas to go to New York and party and David who was away at the time on business rushed home to be with his son on Christmas?

I know Bowie was granted custody of his son after the divorce, rather unusual decision by the courts, Bowie also paid for Duncans education at the very privileged ( some might say obnoxcious ) private school of Gordonstoun in Scotland.

Obviously the courts thought Bowie the better parent.
