I feel Bowie used homosexuality the way Al Jolsen used blackface. He put it on and sang, "Mammy." Bowie simply embraced the most disgusting thing he could think of to gain attention. When it was no longer feasible, Bowie simply renounced his homosexuality.

Besides, Bowie probably has had plenty of homosexual sex. Not because he was homosexual, but because he will do anything to be party of the elite, artistic underground. He probably has one of the biggest anuses in rock and roll, especially for a skinny man.
