Six is correct. The first bears the greatest resemblance to the album version (and I think is superior to it) while the others explore the theme to varying degrees, each more interesting than the last. Except for the one with Ice T. Anyway, as I stated earlier in the thread, it is indeed a pity that two of the tracks were wasted in such a manner. It would've been much better to include just the Clean Edit - and just about anything else would be good to fill the gap.

It's nearly identical to the other Junior Vasquez mixes anyway.
Though I must say I consider it the best Vasquez mix never the less.
And has anyone else checked out the new In-house Promo CDR's -sections of the illusitrated discography? It seems there's rather much we're missing (although these still are great releases...).

There was a cd on Ebay tonight with a load of vinyl only (in the rest of the world) remixes of HFL, it was brazilian I believe, I have heard that 96DBfreak has a copy of this, he mentioned it on Bowieaudio once.
I have a burned copy of the tracks but it came with no track listing, so I am unable to differentiate the different mixes, I will be glad to get these new cd's, maybe not complete but some of the best reissues so far.
If at first you don't succeed, it probably wasn't worth doing in the first place

The THFL vinyl mixes are rather excellent (as it happens, I have all of them on CD, unless there are mixes Ruud doesn't list). And they all appear on the bonus disc.

That cd is from Argentina, see here for more info: http://www.illustrated-db-discography.nl/cdsingle/thfl.htm#arg
I have a copy of this cd - I would copy it but I guess there's no need now all the mixes will finally receive a regular cd release.

Now, being the Bowie freak that I am, I wrote down in calendars all over my house reminders on when these were coming out. But I've been going to amazon and BowieNet stores and there's no mention of these oh most desired CD's!
Anyone know what happened to the reissues? Are they still coming out?
Are you as frustrated as I am, pulling out your ever lessening hair and all?

They're out but don't bank on getting the box set. Still there are mercenaries selling them already.

HMV didn't have them either! I got the Pet Shop Boys PopArt DVD for £10.99 though, so I still came home happy.

Aaww crap! I've only been able to find them on uk sites and it'll take a shitload of money to get 'em shipped overseas. My poor credit card's gonna get indigestion!

Credit card indigestion, indeed. The best I could do was 9.99 GBP each on amazon.co.uk. This is AFTER I thought I had ordered the slipcase version from keymailorder.com, which "confirmed" my order and then sent me an email telling me they weren't going to get enough of the slipcase editions to sell me one. Amazon.co.de pulled the same stunt. I had a "confirmed" slipcase order until earlier today, when they sent me an email full of condolences in German or Dutch or some similar language I can't understand. Supposedly, I still have a "confirmed" slipcase with hmv.co.uk but I am certain it is only a matter of time before they break the bad news to me as well--I hear some others have already recieved such emails from hmv.
Oh, well, who needs a freakin' silver piece of cardboard with "David Bowie" etched onto it? I went to amazon.co.uk, and bought each digibook edition separately, 9.99 GBP each, plus a tad over 5 GBP for shipping all the way to Seattle. Whaddayagonnado?
