I just downloaded this from SavageJaw, it took me about six hours but is well worth it. "CD Tracks
01: Five Years (Unreleased Studio Version 1972) 02: Waiting For The Man (New York '76) 03: "Heroes" (Earls Court, London 1978) 04: What In The World (Earls Court, London 1978) 05: Space Oddity (Marquee Club, London 1973) 06: Spirits In The Night (Trident Studios 1973) 07: Rupert The Riley Version 2 (Unused Ryko Bonus Track) 08: Miss Perculiar (Unused Ryko Bonus Track) 09: Life On Mars? (Unreleased Peter Noone Acetate) 10: Untitled (From Black Tie White Noise Sessions)
Track 2 was ommited from the original FM broadcast as there is a minor tape glitch on this track at around 0:29 but despite this it's an amazing version. Tracks 3 & 4 were originally short-listed for use on the Trident/NMC compilation "RarestOneBowie" but not used. Track 6 is performed by The Astronettes. It's an alternate mix to the finished version that appeared on "People From Bad Homes". It has some nice Bowie bits, especially around 3:01 when Bowie can be heard telling the band what parts to sing. Tracks 7 & 8 were mastered in the early 90'for EMI/Ryko's re-issues but were rejected."
It is in Flac format so you need a converter which you can download quite easily. The sound quality is really good, for example I have never heard Rupert the Riley sound this good. Five Years hasn't got the orchestration on it and sounds so strange, Noone's Life on Mars is so strange, never knew this existed. Great to hear a little more of Earls court, apparently only ten tracks exist from this show now?

The closest track to it would be Pallas Athena, in as much as it is an instrumental "dance" track with repeated speech over the top, it only lasts just under a minute, there is a version around which is @7mins, but there is a break which was used to fade out this version apparently. Hopefully the person who released these tracks will eventually release more of it and maybe even more tracks of this calibre. He apparently was something to do with RARESTONEBOWIE and Trident.

Is that track one of the those in the bonus CD of the last BTWN edition (the one with a bonus CD and a bonus DVD)? By the way, I think there are some interesting remixes in that bonus CD ;)
Let me take you to where all began ... I want Nathan Adler back ...

It was over 250MB and as it is a bit torrent, it is dependent on who is seeding it. The quality outweighs the wait though.
