Unfortunatly those pictures are heavily photoshopped. But excluding all those horrible moustache-pictures of him, I think he still generally looks incredibly good.

This I don't get. I thought the whole point of recruiting middle aged icons was because they are middle aged and can better appeal to a middle aged market.. the trying to airbrush twenty years away kind of defeats the point.. that and the originals would probably look better anyway [less mattelish].

Im not a fan of these photographs, they look very false.

To me it makes no sense, why make someone look younger to sell clothes? madness in my opinion.

On the other hand, perhaps one of these photographs could have been used for the cover of Reality

I admit that purely as pictures, without knowing who they feature, etc. those are good-looking pictures. But we all know that Bowie was 52 at the time. No-one looks like that at the age of 52. In the end, both pictures look pathetic because they are trying to deny the man's age.

Sys, I think the Survive video has the same effect.... He looks too young in it (i know there is a look-a-like on majority of the video, but when he is in it, he looks like he 20 something)
