and cherries new [re: diamondogz74]

Oh, i love Dr Pepper. That, Cherry coke and root beer is what I drink when i get to the US (those drinks are so much harder to find over here). I have the feeling, though, that it would be pretty disgusting to dring those on a daily basis.
How bad is this San Andreas game? I hear worried parents say that it's possible to not only kill people in a very realistic setting (more so than, say, Diablo which I still play ) but also rape. Is that so? I must say that it soulds pretty disgusting - yes, I have an opinion about stuff that promotes violence... (and I'm only 34!)

I'm not really sure what it is, I don't really know what they put into the stuff, but it tastes bloody awful never the less.

And my favourite soft drink is Pepsi Max (the stuff that both makes your teeth drop off and gives you cancer), especially the variant with lemon.

Re: Almonds new [re: Sysiyo]

If you're talking about variant mixers, I personally have no small affection for rum with mountain dew. Spiced rum is best, of course, but either way works. It's not so much the taste (which is acceptable at best) as the idea of concentrating that much caffeine with that much alcohol, all in one place, that decadence. It's like smoking a cigarette through a prostitute. I highly recommend it.

I've never heard of the cancer link until you now mentioned it ( makes you wonder though ) and yes Pepsi max is very strong and highly concentrated, think I'll stick to Pepsi lite.

First let me say that as far as video games go, GTA:SA ranks up there with Bionic Commando and Zelda as an all time great. The world of the game - comprised of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and a lot of country in between - is both massive, exquisitely detailed, and completely seamless. It's one of the few games I've ever played where basically if you can think of something you want to do, you can probably do it - although no raping so far. I've been playing it for weeks, doing mostly the main storyline missions and ignoring the hundreds of side projects, and I'm still far from done with it.

Now, is it violent? Oh, sweet God yes. It is among the most brutal things I've ever seen. I've decapitated prostitutes with a shotgun, I've kidnapped a record producer and his girlfriend and driven them off the end of a pier, and I've murdered more police officers than you can possibly imagine.

I haven't raped anyone, though, and I don't think that it's possible. There are the aforementioned prostitutes, as well as a series of girlfriends, but you only get to sleep with them after several 'dates.' As you can guess, this was one of the aspects of the game that I chose to gloss over...which had the wonderful side effect of causing one of the radio DJs to send me out a special dedication/plea for attention from the girlfriend in L.A. I hadn't visited in weeks. As I said, the game is made in the details.

So, yes, incredibly realistic and incredibly violent. I wouldn't want my kids playing it, if I had any. But look, I've been playing it solid for nearly a month, and I've yet to so much as pull a screaming woman from her car to go joyriding.

Yessirree, GTA and a big ol' glass of cool Dr. Pepper sounds just fine right about now.

Now they wanna mitigate the gusto
It's like askin' the cast of Watership Down to fuck slow

Unfortunately we don't have Pepsi Lite in Finland at all, we've only got the ordinary Pepsi, Pepsi Twist (ordinary with lemon), Pepsi Max and Pepsi Max Cool Lemon.

As for the cancer thing... it doesn't actually cause cancer, but it includes a source of phenylalanine (I hope that's the correct name in english) that is suspected to cause cancer.

No - I think you're thinking of root beer which tastes exactly like cough medicine. Dr Pepper is disgusting in an entirely different way. I imagine it's what arsenic would taste like if you added a bunch of sugar...

Still perfecting imperfection
