Rumoured september release - with Bowie commentary previously only heard on the criterion laserdisc.
I wonder what the bonus material will hold?

The film was released to UK cinemas in 1976
Which makes next year it's 30th obviously, It's about time we had a 2 DVD set of this ( best film he's ever made IMO ) motion pictutre, there is a 2 DVD set on Anchor Bay but it's only region 1
This is good news Peter as for the extras? the mind boggles, perhaps Bowie's original soundtrack? that would be just wonderful.
The Anchor Bay 2 DVD special edition, with I think a better cover also.

Jesus Christ, they could just make an alternate track with Low playing on loop and it would be the best DVD ever.
"What in the World" also syncs up perfectly with the censored sex scene, if you're ever in a mood to watch that again.

Agreed. But I already have one version of that movie on DVD! Am I supposed to start buying ten differen versions of every movie he's made? I've already slipped from my principles of having only one of each album... It's going to happen with the movies too, I know... *sigh*

You know, there's something you can do to your DVD-player so that it plays any region. Unfortunately I don't know what it is, but ours plays any region now.

Yes there is Kati you can have it chipped to accept both regions, mine is a panasonic and they refused to chip it for me, Im thinking of buying one of them very inexpensive DVD players for about £25.00, they seem to accept any region and and anything going, It is madness.

Another well kept secret is some low-end no-name brand DVD players($39 range) are regionless players.
It's cheaper for the manufactuers to skip the chip than for it to be installed.
