One song at a fashion event cannot be considered art can it? Of course he can choose what he sings, if not he would be doing Let's Dance after all. Either song is a little adventurous, a lot of the audience may have not heard it before. But you have got to accomodate an audience, it is different if it is your own show, but this isn't, Bowie, is just one of the turns.

Dignity is valuable, but our lives are valuable too.

Why is Arcade Fire making it's major US TV debut singing someone else's song? Or will they be doing one of their own?

I vote towards 5 Years - it's fits in better with what AF does best, and there's less Bowie footage of that song.
