Last year Bowie sang Fashion elsewhere and it was shown to the audience on screens. Could be much the same case.

"Hating Bowie in 1997 means hating everything overblown, theatrical, pretentious, pseudo-intellectual and jarringly progressive in the past 25 years of pop. In other words, everything great about pop. It also means hating yourself."

On TV it's a 2 hr show with each performer doing one song.

Yes, I imagine he'll dust off 'Fashion' again. It'd be nice if he was there in person this time. Still it is great news that he is finally performing again. Welcome back Dave!
Its about time I had a signature

Firstly this is great news and about time too, Im not so sure he'll just go along with singing Fashion, Im sure this be a glimpse of the new Bowie, the Bowie that will hopefully tour next year, as for the song he'll sing? well he could just surprise us all with a new song and not "( She Can ) Do That", maybe it's my wishful thinking.

He will be singing predominantly to a none bowie audience, he will have to sing something they might know.

Yeah I know but the eyes of the world will be on him considering this will be his first live performance since his illness, he'll take advantage of this situation and who wouldn't blame him? Is it written in stone only one song per artist, I really hope they let him sing at least three as in Live 8s schedule, or am I being greedy
