Mind you, if you did you'd have a fucking riot on your hands judging by this.

Tell me, if we're so dictatorial, why haven't I banned you ages ago?
Tell me, if Hitler was such a bad guy, how come he loved animals and treated his secretaries so well?
Extremists on both sides are driving the bus. Not just that, but they've persuaded the rest of us to pay to have the bus converted into a tank, and we're not allowed to look outside to see for ourselves what's really going on.

Is there a way to get the weekly data this is based on?
I would find it quite interesting to see how much of Elton's and David's success is based on their 70s and 80s sales.

Because you're afraid of what the reaction from your mutual friends would be?

The only fucking riot here, mate, is the way you take the response to that pathetic little thread from a few - not even that many, and almost no heavyweights - posters to your plea that they say something nice about you as affirmation of your whole raison d'etre.

What friends?
If David Bowie is the man who fell to earth, Björk Guðmundsdóttir is the woman who fell to earth.

Please tell me you saw the humour in that statement?
That thread even?
No?
As you were.

Whatis interesting to note is that Jackson and Madonna both admit Bowie was an influence onthem....Madonna's first ever concert was a Ziggy show where she stated it made her want to become a performer and we all know Jackson picked up the moonwalk via Bowie :)
Not a bad effort by Bowie considering he has never really been a huge commercial option for most record buyers. Madonna always looks for the right producer, song writers and marketing crew to make sure she gets the best from her release. Her label makes sure every radio and TV network have promo copies well in advance so how can she not have a hit?
