Is this the same version as on the Mott Anthology box?

As far as I understand, the original guide vocal version by Bowie (with Mott backing him) has never been officially released (only on bootleg).

What appeared on the Mott box set was in fact a combination of the rough guide mix but also the final mix (in which Mott sings the chorus).

How about the second version of Sweet Jane on this CD? Is this the one with Reed on guide vocal and Bowie on backing?

Another nice inclusion might have been 'Honky Tonk Woman' (1972 live version with Bowie on sax and backing vox) which was included on an official 1998 compilation. And there's a few demos that exist on the bootleg circuit: 'It's Alright', 'Henry and the H-Bomb', 'Shakin All Over', 'Please Don't Touch' and 'So Sad'.
