Station To Station - September 20th ...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...
Looks like it's been worth the wait!
(From Bnet/Blammo)
It's always nice to start a new month with some good news and I think you'll agree this is rather good news.
We first mentioned this one almost a year ago (08.11.2009 NEWS: STATION TO STATION FOUR DISC SET DUE NEXT YEAR) and it is with much pleasure that we are now able to exclusively announce the release of EMI's 3-CD Special Edition and 5-CD, DVD and heavyweight vinyl Deluxe Edition of David Bowie's massively influential 1976 album, Station To Station ...along with the much bootlegged fan favourite: Live Nassau Coliseum '76.
Both the Special and Deluxe Editions are due on September 20th.
Here's the breakdown of what you can expect to find in each of these brilliant packages...

In addition to these releases, it's just been announced that there's to be a Super Deluxe Limited Edition (available to Bowienet members only) that contains a further 8 remixes, lots more replicas of stuff and, straight from the Bowie archive, refrigerated piss from the Thin White Duke himself.
Seriously, it may be one of the finest albums ever recorded but, as kipt alluded to, just how many different versions of the same album does a person need? For the record, I'll buy the Special Edition just for the official release of the Nassau concert - although I'm rather pissed that they've removed the drum solo from the CD release.
