It was available as the second CD single for Thursday's Child. I bought it as I prefer the rock version to the album version.
It also includes the video, "1917" and "We Shall All Go To Town".
You may be able to pick up a copy at Amazon.

Are you sure about this? This CD contains an interactive element. Video of Thursday's Child.
Pretty to look at, but they've got no brains.

Absolutely positive!!
The CD single has three tracks - the rock version of Thursday's Child, 1917 and We Shall All Go To Town - as well as the video element of the original Thursday's Child.
I'll have to be more careful how I write these posts. Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks to this thread, I'm listening to it now for the second time ever and it's just awful, this song just doesn't do it for me, slimey guitar licks over the top or not. [blech]

That was pretty much my reaction, too, but after a few more listens I've grown to accept it.

I never liked the song though, poorsoul. Ever since I heard those "snippets" before it's release. I was hoping a remix would remake the song into something more interesting but alas, it failed. I still blame those bloody 'snippets' for putting me off that album and the boring videos didn't help either . Anyways, that's just IMHO and I can live with(out) it!

Right, in that case, I can't blame you for not liking the remix at all. Like I said, I didn't particularly fancy it on the first few listens and I do actually like the original.
