I have one with his very first album and the Early On compilation, I believe these are Russian boots or at least semi-official.

Thanks for responding. I bought this on Amazon. The reasoning was to get a rework Low Album and I didn't have The man who sold the world on compact disc. To further the discussion . Bowie use to be on the RCA label. But what puzzles me is that it says for sale only in Russia what is that about?. Is there anymore of these type of records.

I think they make things like this alot in Russia. They make cd's which contain 2 albums by artists such as George Harrison.
It's unusual to put those 2 Bowie albums on 1 cd because they are both totally different and seem like a random choice.

Interesting that you said that because if you listen to the first few notes of the song "The width of a circle" and "Sound and Vision" they sound kind of similar. Try it and see the similarity.

They are russian pirate recordings. not legal but collectable.
be careful though as sometimes they miss off tracks in order to fit 2cds onto 1. For instance the double cd they do that includes Buddha has at least 1 buddha track missing.
