Your Turn To Trade
|
|
|
I have a copy of the song Your Turn To Drive, and I'm looking to trade for other rare songs. This five minute song is an outtake from Toy. I hear it was released as a single, but I have never seen this single before. I'm looking for a few other rare songs, particulary:
- Zion (A Lad In Vein) - 1917 - Waterloo Sunset - Love Missile F1-11 - Wood Jackson - When The Boys Come Marching Home - Shadow Man - After Today
If you have any of these songs, and are looking for Your Turn To Drive, it would really help me out if we could trade.
NOTE: I only want to trade mp3 files, not actual discs!!

I have at least Zion, Wood Jackson, Shadow Man and After Today on my computer's hard drive. Possibly some of the others too, but I can't be arsed to go check. Anyway, I don't care much for trading, but if nobody else comes up with the stuff, I'll upload it somewhere on the net for you.
Have you tried WinMX or Kazaa, though? I got some of those mp3's fairly easily on WinMX.

I've tried Kazaa a million times, and unfortunately I couldn't come up with any of those. I'll try using WinMX though, hopefully that will work. But if you could put it on the net somewhere, that would be great!! -Thanks

I've got...
In reply to:
- Zion (A Lad In Vein) - Waterloo Sunset - Love Missile F1-11 - Wood Jackson - When The Boys Come Marching Home - Shadow Man
... and Your Turn To Drive. What else have you got?
I'll be appearing LIVE in Toronto April 1st. Sure, it's a David Bowie show but you're all coming to see me. More importantly, you're coming to see me in my awesome new pants.

Have you got the Survive pt. 2 CD single? This has Survive, Thursday's Child, and Seven live in Paris. Other than that, I don't think I have anything too rare other than some rare tracks that were included on official releases.

Do you think we could just trade over e-mail or would we have to store it somewhere on the net?

It really depends on your email account and what size files it allows you to attach, send and recieve. Yahoo and Hotmail are limited but sometimes the Instant Messenger has proved more successful for fans.

The Illustrated Discography states:
Your Turn To Drive (Bowie): originally titled 'Toy' and intended to be included on that unreleased album. This track was later offered as a free download to customers who ordered their copy of Reality online from HMV.
Rarities are next to impossible to find using Kazaa but are readily accessible using Soulseek. Just check the time before you download since some people have files titled Your Turn To Drive which are actually the song Fly.
