The Au20 Series new

Which of Bowie's CDs were issued through the Au20 series (20 bit master/24 k gold CD)? And what's so cool about this series?

I don't have any of them, and was wondering if the sound quality or value of the CDs makes them worth seeking out.

I tried looking at Bassman's site and a search on this one, but could not find any information.

Thanks.

Thanks pablo that does indeed answer most of my questions.

Do you have any of these gold discs? Does the lack of "compression" actually make the "highs" and "lows" in the sound much clearer, as one of those links suggests? Are they worth it for anything other than their collectible value?

I haven't myself and from what I can make out from reading people's opinions, there is no real advantage to these discs, apart from them being unique.

I agree with the above statement.

I have The Man Who Sold The World and Hunky Dory gold discs. I don't hear much difference in The Man Who Sold the World, but I hear an appreciable difference in Hunky Dory. I paid 10 bucks for both of these titles about 10 years ago. They weren't that rare back then. I don't know about now.

I concur, although I don't really have the audio equipment to make such subtle differences highly noticeable. I have Hunky Dory and Changesonebowie - the former I got because I was lacking it, the latter because it was there.
