Just saw this pic on eBay, does anyone know what is above the first S in Station as I have never seen this mark before (or the Golden years sticker)?
If at first you don't succeed, it probably wasn't worth doing in the first place

thats the almost exact record of it that i have, except instead of a "golden years" circle, its a diamond with "TVC 15 and Golden Years" ........ i dont know why the leaf is there, but i would assume it has something to do with record company.

It looks to me like a Canadian release, not sure but probably right. Have a look at the small print on the record and see where it was made, if it says Canada then theres your answer.

I have the Canadian vinyl edition of S2S. Mine has the maple leaf in the top left corner, but has the diamond "sticker"(it's printed onto the coverart) that list GY and TVC as the hit single.
Mine's a reissue, would this be the first pressing Canadian vinyl?

I think I have the first Canadian vinyl, and it looks the same, but doesn't have the incircled Golden years. In fact, there's no sticker on the cover at all.

The sticker might have been removed by one of the earlier owners (I presume you bought it used), if it was a real sticker and not a print-on, which is probably if it were the initial issue. It is also possible that not all copies had the sticker in the first place.

It looks like the red and white cover instilled a certain patriotism among the Canadians!
Makes you wonder if the Australian edition has a kangaroo.
