Re: Grrrr [re: Pablo-Picasso]

They are Dual Layer discs (unlike Heathen) .... or at least, mine is.

Fopp in Covent Garden was selling them for £7.99, the same as the regular version.

Re: Grrrr [re: Pablo-Picasso]

No I haven't got a SACD player, but when I read this...DISCRIPTION THIS IS RARE AND HARD TO FIND SCAD HYDREAD VERSION DVD/CD WHICH CAN BE PLAYED ON A 5.1 SUROUND SOUND SYSTEM OR NORMAL CD PLAYER, I thought it might play in my DVD-A player, another reason why I was over cautious

Many thanks for the link Alan, some very cheap prices for cds on there.

Re: Grrrr [re: diamondogz74]

When I checked on play.com, it said it was only playable on a dedicated player, however has Russ has a copy, he would know better than them really.

Re: David Bowie - Electric Irons and TVs - Very Rare F [re: diamondogz74]

the DVD is just the usual Ziggy era cine film that always pops up on ebay.

That single is pretty bad... worthless as a bowie collectable, but nice to have. PS it the two on either end!

Re: David Bowie - Electric Irons and TVs - Very Ra [re: diamondogz74]

Probably due to being sacked in 1973. The accompanying album is mentioned in Pegg. Woody and Trevor went on in the 90s to become a group called the cybernauts with members of Def leppard, they did a really good version of Lady grinning soul.

Well I doubt it would have been nice, especially as they we being paid poorly anyway. Regarding LGS, I think I send you a copy of the cd Acoustic dogs once, if so it is the last track on that.
