Look, I'm keenly aware of my many shortcomings as a human being, but I still fail to see how wordy posting is such a damnable offense, or calling someone on their attempt to tell me what my job as a poster is. To which I say, again, that I did not select Bumbles as a target, she selected me. People make posts I find insipid all the time, but unless there's something constructive to say (i.e. "You're being a fascist), I tend to refrain from all but the best of personal jabs.

I realize, of course, that you're a pretty smart poster, and there's a good chance that all your righteous indignation here is a well-crafted move to get under my skin by employing the age-old argument which rankles me the most: "He who puts the most effort into his post shall be deemed the biggest loser."

To which I say, as always, tough titty toenails; if you don't want your stupid ideas picked apart, don't bring them to my doorstep.*
