Monkee, p2c regularly contacted the mods in attempt to alter people's posts, particularly Shelle's posts, because he, like myself, believed they were in desperate need of revamping. And it's worth considering that p2c is responsible for some of the most protracted wind-ups in TW history, particularly with the Euro mods, so any 'serious' legal threat ought to have been initially taken with a pinch of salt.

Similarly, I can't believe that Dogz would've had the audacity or brain capacity required to go through with any legal proceedings. His threat, as far as has been disclosed, was confined to a solitary, mispunctuated PM, whose purpose seemed to be to discover what reaction he could provoke rather than to intimidate the Mods/shut down the site. I admit there would be few people who could say with any certainty what's going on in Dogz' mind, but I guess that someone who has withstood literally thousands of posts of abuse and laughed off most of them must feel obliged to feign outrage (and make threats) to mix things up occasionally.

I hope that the publication of Dogz' single PM didn't influence any decision to ban him. Yes, the Mods knew about the PM months ago, but a new wave of hostility arose after the PM was published on the boards, and Dogz was, ultimately, banned by request. Which, ironically, is back in 'The Euro Mods Are Watching You. . . .' territory.

Pablo, on the other hand, has made it known at every opportunity that he is genuinely a reactionary, humourless nutjob, liable to find offence at the merest passing mention of his paedo-esque moustache, and I wouldn't put it past him, had he the funds, to sue the site.
