If anyone’s interested Thursday night’s show at St Ann’s Warehouse is available over at dime right now. I acquired it last night but haven’t had the chance to listen to it yet. However there’s a review of that very show over at Rolling Stone.
One of the guys on another board that I post at posted this on Sunday (NY time - so he must be talking about Saturday):
“Yesterday I attended a matinee show here in NYC which was added (the four night run at St Ann's Warehouse sold out a long time ago) for the express purpose of a DVD shoot. The house was packed, a few celebs were in attendance (Michel Gondry, Jim Thirlwell, Artie Bucco from the Sopranos, and oh yeah Bono - and they were merely the ones I happened to spot in passing), and the gig was astoundingly good. Lou was in true Lou form, Steve Hunter on guitar, Fernando Saunders AND Rob Wasserman both on bass, Antony and Sharon Jones on backup vox, Bob Ezrin jumping up and down like a madman - what's not to like?”
Didn't any TW’ers go to see it?
