I have heard of the book and I guess it has some controversy with the Young brothers not wanting to be interviewed and then not liking how they were presented by the author. I would love to read it but I have never seen it in print in the U.S. so I guess I would have to make an order.
You certainly are lucky to see him live and on their first tour even!! I had some bootlegs of some shows in London from the 'Highway to Hell' tour that are incredible. Angus was at his most fiery on that tour and they made the 'Highway to Hell' songs real gritty when played live.
I have to admit that I'm as diehard as they come when it comes to that band and I'm happy with the Brian Johnson stuff, too. Of the Scott stuff, I don't have a favorite album, since they are all great but songs like "Overdose" and "Ain't No Fun..." make me smile.
Lately, the writing duo of only the Young brothers are present on the albums, and their lyrics suck ass or don't flow right or something. At least when Johnson sings his own lyrics, the overall song seems to carry well, even though he's not as witty as Bon was with the innuendos.
This is about Lou Reed, so sorry about raping the board. Lou is cool, though. Qi Gong is a great way to enhance chi and 'Waiting for the Man' is a classic. His girlfriend is pretty talented herself.
