David Bowie v. Prince, two venerable, prolific artists face off.
Both have had the their successes and failures, and keep rising up again like a Phoenix.
Bowie was to the 70s and 80s what Prince was to the 80s and 90s, the career arcs of the two artists sync up almost perfectly.
The only real difference being that Prince's most commercially successful albums tended to be his most critically acclaimed as well.
While Bowie's most acclaimed tended not to be huge successes, and his two most commercially successful albums are regarded as among his worst--in the US, at least.
