Here are my thoughts on the culling:

1) There was a lot of 'dead wood' in past posts made up of the total rubbish posts, posts that asked questions that are no longer relevant ie "what will his next single be?", posts with no replies etc

2) Am I right in saying that the 'before the cull' archive was never complete anyway - hadn't Evan already deleted posts from the past?

3) It is Evan's site and he has to pay for it - he had two choices and I feel that he chose the right one.

4) Yes it would be nice to have a warning, to allow time to archive our PMs, but maybe Evan didn't have time to give a warning either
