If anything, I'd say that this would simplify things as well as maintain quality. If there was a special account set up for news, TWers who are
trusted could be given the password so that, when they're online, they can check the account and sort through any news that's been put up. This way, several users could have access so that the news can be updated regularly as well as checked for hoaxes and irrelevancies.

I'm not bothered either way but if this plan is designed to reinvigorate TW, the last thing we want is the front page declaring that Bowie iz SOOO sexy OMFG!! because the mods were at work or defecating or defecating at work.
