i used to be a very active member here at tw and had no problems about showing my profile and my letting my name and what have you be known. But a year on ive noticed certain things happen to me via my email and so forth that i believe to be because i let my profile shown on TW, like alot of spam and even some emails knowing my name (they were using my nickname and other aspects that i had used only here at TW). And so i decided to not show it, if someone really wants to know who i am or whatever than thats up to them to PM me- i'd rather that then let those pesky spambots and so forth get hold of me that way.
