It just hit me that SoulLoveChild would be an ideal moderator. Her and Starlite would be two of the best moderators we could ever have. It only remains to be seen if democracy will come to TW, if we allow it to come in, now that it is here, knocking on our door. Then, hopefully, SLC and Starlite will decide to run for office.
eraserhead, I thank you for your support, your good taste and common sense on the board . I am humbly ecstatic by your proposal. But before you get too excited, I must let you know that I cannot put myself up for election in the near future, should the momentous occasion arise. Perhaps next year.
I won't be online a lot for the rest of the year, particularly Oct/Nov/Dec. I'm actually going through some major changes in life - SLH and I have resigned from our lodge in the snow and we are planning a move interstate. We haven't even found jobs yet, let alone somewhere to live, so have an awful lot on our plate before things settle down and I can get back into the daily routine here at my beloved TW.
However I will be around the next month or so, keeping an eye on proceedings. Keeping an eye on Adam. Keeping an eye on the activities of the other mods (I loved Tati but she was the wrong choice of mod from the start, haven't seen her virtually since her nomination as mod).
I would be nominating Zigbot up for moderator if she's keen. This may have something to do with the fact that she and I are doppelgangers living the same lives with the same ideals, ideas and passions on opposite sides of the planet. You can bet your last $ that 99.9% of everything she writes could have been written by me. (Except I don't dislike Try Some Buy Some THAT much )
