That's kind of the point. The thing that is getting to me more than anything here is that Starlite just won't stop trying to make me into a Better Person or something. I appreciate that she's so bent on evening out my karma or what have you but I'm really alright as-is. I don't need self-conscious left wing chic to make me feel "complete." I'd rather not make sense to some and have some small amount of inner peace than constantly have to re-invent myself according to what is and isn't ok for me to be saying out loud.
But I appreciate where she's coming from, I really do. I just wish she'd fucking stop trying to make me a Better Person. It isn't going to happen. Whatever that means to you; fine.
