In which case the mods should admit that they're just playing favorites and not doing any sort of "duty," and they won't give Persilot or JarethsGirl custom titles because they just don't like them enough. Or are sexist.

Exactly. So all you did is make it seem like others who've been here just as long as some of the out-of-turn kids weren't up to your personal importance standards. Especially since some people were randomly turned down for early titles despite their being well known contributors (Monkeyboy) and others were granted titles despite hardly ever being on anymore (dice, Wraith2, some other people I can't even remember).

But if this is to hold true, I back up WP's suggestion of stripping all prematurely given titles until such a date as the posters concerned actually reach the necessary quantity.
