There was a story on a website today—yahoo news, iirc—concerning the banning of certain ISPs from the internet archive http://web.archive.org on the grounds of rampant Hawkerism. I decided to try out its archive features on TW's very own Conversation Piece, and voila!

Highlights discovered so far:

As you may guess from the above selection, the archive is vastly incomplete and there are infinite numbers of dead links. (The last of the above was included only because it featured a number of now-famous TWers as kooks/tomatoes, etc.) The archive is slow and there doesn't seem to be much of a pattern to which threads work/don't work. But, obviously, if you're bored (like Clover) or procrastinating (like me) then it might provide some amusement.

My niceness is another quality others do not now know to handle.
