I now see that I probably evolved (or devolved some would say) into three ways of writing:
One is very theatrically
One is a soundscape venture
And the other is straight forward songs
And I think each album I go into it's one of those three principles that becomes the parametres of why we're going in - with little bits of the others.
How does Bowie's post Tin Machine albums fit with this? Which of the 3 directions would you like him to head next?
