I am not sure but I don't think the Lübeck thing was a permanent, yearly event. Scheessel is far better located anyway as it is easy to reach from three of Germany's bigger cities and their surrounding areas, Hamburg, Bremen and Hannover. Even Berlin isn't too far away. Lübeck instead is pretty far out with only Hamburg in the vicinity.
