The "Southside Festival" is a subsidiary of the "Hurricane Festival" but it is located in Neuhausen ob Eck/Tuttlingen which is near Lake Constance and therefore deep down in the South(-West), as the name actually indicates. The Hurricane festival is pretty much in the centre of the three Northern cities of Hamburg, Bremen and Hannover. Berlin isn't too far as well and even for Danish and Dutch people it is worth a consideration. The Southside festival is some 700 km away ( I guess) and is well located for people from Munich, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Heidelberg or Mannheim. Switzerland, Luxemburg and Liechtenstein are close as well.

For an Australien these two shows may appear not too distanced from each other - for a German it is a hell of a travel.
