Whether the particular records you saw were genuine or not, it was released as a double-sided promo (i.e. they put the same song on both sides).

Yeah, it was one of those, so it might be genuine. Not that I'd want to buy it...

True, although that's not much in comparison with the whole albums that the surrounding decades have to offer.

Certainly. But then again, perhaps we should consider Bowie a singles act in the 80's (after all, with the exception of AS The World Falls Down and Baal all tracks I listed were singles), when during other decades he has been an album act.
