Just as Bowie sings 'transition, transmission' for the first time, a series of Live Aid symbol outlines follow before displaying the cover art of Tonight with the subtitles: "David Bowie: Tonight: EMI America". This was done for each artist performing so The Pretenders who followed had their album, Learning to Crawl shown. I bought the original Australian broadcast on VHS in the mid 90s. It's notable for the cross over to the Australian studios at the end of the 'We Are The World' with the studio personel (including Molly Meldrum) singing along tearfully.
