Re: If Album Titles Were Changed to Foriegn Langua
Let's not forget the wonderful debut album Taavetti Puukko.
You've written all first letters in caps on some names, although (as you should know) in finnish only the first word should begin in caps, unless it's a person's name. I'd also translate a few of the others a bit differently:
Space Oddity = Avaruusoutous (maintains something of the original "odyssey" pun) Diamond Dogs = Timanttikoirat Lodger = Alivuokralainen ('vuokralainen' does not mean the same thing as 'lodger'). Tonight = Tänä iltana (or perhaps more stylistically just "Illalla" or "iltana") Never Let Me Down = Älä koskaan petä Tin Machine = Tinakone (has a great pun in Finnish, as the national ice hockey team of the Soviet Union was known as "punakone", the red machine). Buddha of Suburbia = Esikaupungin Buddha Outside = Ulkopuolella (although "Ulkona" is as valid as a translation, my version retains more of the spirit of the original) Earthling = Maahinen Heathen = Uskoton (would be a better translation than "pakana")
