In a 1979 interview, reprinted in the Bowie biog "Diary of a Generalist" that same year, you said 24 songs were attempted during the Lodger sessions.

It is also known that SM was an album Bowie was cornered into completed - seeing as he thought Stage counted as 2 albums rather than 1 on his RCA contract.

During the the recording of the next album, SM, it was known Bowie recycled some older songs(I am a Laser....etc*). Were any of the "missing 14" outtakes/song-drafts/demos/experiments from the Lodger sessions re-used on SM?
