It's not up for me to judge Bowie's past, Incidently a past in which he was at the peak of his mysterious career, do you not think all this drug taking, combined with his weird ways ( concocked at that, during the 70s for major effect ) made him the person he was, remote/mysterious, I can only judge the man on good or bad work.

Messing with drugs is wrong, but if a person wants to experiment ( adult at that ) who are we to judge.
I reiterate, IMO his worst thing was with letting EMI distrubute/handle his recordings.
