Yeah. I think Lodger is way inferior to Scary Monsters and even Let's Dance. The cuts always felt like they were trying to hard to be edgy without actually succeeding at being worthwhile songs, whereas Low and heroes are packed with successful tracks just about end to end.

I think I actually prefer Heathen and probably Reality to Lodger. Actually, come to think of it, the three records are somewhat alike - trying to be edgy, sport a remarkably similar sound and aren't loaded with particularly memorable or vital songs, with a couple of obvious exceptions.
