I've just gotten Numan's 1981 Micromusic Concert on DVD and
can't stop watching it.........
After mulling over Bowie's humiliation of Numan as well as his rejection
of "cold, synthesizer" music in the 80's.....it appears that this interaction
was quite the catalyst in influencing his direction during that decade.....
And to add to my prior list: I was reading the current, updated Rolling Stone
Record Guide book and noticed they'd demoted Bowie's Black Tie White
Noise, Buddha of Suburbia and Outside albums to ONE STAR !!!!!
BTWN originally received a rave review (4 stars ) and Outside ( 3 stars ).....
I don't believe Buddha was ever reviewed......what a joke !
