I think Peter Gabriel had the solution on his first CD-ROM. Basically, at some point when you had done enough searching, a little animated Gabriel would appear congratulating you and offering presents (effectively a bunch of computer files, icons, wallpapers, etc) that are unencoded from the CD and placed on your hard drive. Now whether DVD technology has enough compute power to determine whether certain Easter Eggs have been found and then automatically add them to a Main Index? That might be cool.
