So I would guess that if they run rapidly then there is no David talking to the crowd between songs?
Unfortunately NO there is no audience chatting too apart from "you win" and the famous "some silly ones" or philly depending on what you want to hear! with me it's always been "silly ones" but please don't let that put you off, these two live albums are the best I've ever heard, Im even hearing sounds I've never heard before, the stereo remastering is truly breathtaking, there is a definate air of excitement\atmosphere on these FAB albums and the tracks now running in correct order bring a nice continuity back at last.
Incidently on here they have the DVD-Audios for sale at an incredibly low price...

Recorded in July 1974 at the Tower Theatre, Philadelphia ‘David Live’ is an enthralling album of the extraordinary 1974 Diamond Dogs tour. Bowie started the tour as a glam rock king but as the tour progressed he started to make a changeover to a new sound and a new look – Philly Soul. Many of the familiar songs were reworked in unusual & intriguing ways; ‘All The Young Dudes’ & ‘The Jean Genie’ are the subject of a wonderful cabaret style reworking, ‘The Width Of A Circle’ rework is fascinating and ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide’ reworked as a ‘Vegas torch song’ is not to be missed – absolutely brilliant. On original release the album went top 10 on both sides of the Atlantic and it remains an absorbing document of the crossover period between Diamond Dogs and Young Americans. This Audio-DVD features the new Tony Visconti 5.1 mix with new running order, DTS 5.1 mix with new sequence, PCM new stereo mix with new sequence & PCM old stereo mix with original vinyl sequence, plus a photo gallery and comprehensive sleevenotes by Visconti and a chronology by Kevin Cann. Not to be missed!

What we Think
Early in 1978 David Bowie began rehearsals for what was to be his biggest tour so far which took him all around the World. The majority of the show was to be comprised primarily from the Low & Heroes albums. However Bowie surprised his fans with the inclusion of a selection of tracks from Ziggy Stardust, re-arranged to reflect his new 'futuristic' synthesizer sound. When asked to take charge of recording & mixing, producer Tony Visconti decided to record it as if it was a studio album, and with astounding attention to detail. Quadraphonic recording was still viable in the late seventies and he wanted to cover this possibility, but years later surround sound enables us to bring this back to life, and can be appreciated in full on this Audio-DVD. In 1978 a drastic decision was made to put the album in a very different running order to the live performance, the tracks were re-assembled in a rough chronological order. However it has been decided to restore the original order of the concert which now includes two previously unreleased tracks, ‘Stay’ and ‘Be My Wife’. This Audio-DVD features the new Tony Visconti 5.1 mix with the new sequence, DTS 5.1 mix with new sequence, PCM original stereo mix remastered with new sequence and a photo gallery. One for the audiophiles!
