I really don't mind the song (I've heard the full thing now) but I would have expected it to perhaps been a single. At least then, there'd be an explanation for the straight ahead rock/pop not to mention the notable absence of more fanciful, Bowie styled lyrics.
Is this another example in which the poppiest, most commercial tunes are not released as singles but rather kept for b-sides, bonus tracks and obscure soundtracks?
