The news articles seem to be based on the original twitter message dated from JAN 5 - the one I reported here.

What I do not know (and still don't know) is whether the twitter user is genuine.

Hopefully there will be a positive consequence of this ... and that is Bowie might feel obliged to either CONFIRM or DENY whether he is working on new material or even thinking about doing so.
