The first time I heard him on the radio. It's all so fabulousy confused. I heard him on the radio and it sounded exatly the way that I would sing if I had that kind of voice. My voice, of course, is my gestures, my body. I identified with Bowie, the same way I identified with Jean Genet or Picasso.
