I'm not sure if it counts as smartassing if I genuinely at first thought this thread was about boots, as in footwear. I wasn't actually making fun of anyone's search for bootlegs - hell no, the only thing I thought funny was my own bizarre word association.

ugh - i guess not then.

my rather harsh comment comes from my very annoying experience from posting in cc and getting all sorts of "funny" comments back. the frustration doubles if you opt for (what you'd think, would be) relevant posts to be sent to your mailbox.

and yeah - i did manage to secure one good trade through here during the 4 or so years i've been around. way more were called off because the traders were genuine freaks (chrissy/isabel guns debate, anyone?), used unacceptable trading methods (converting mp3 to cd audio), did not reply to my emails, etc, etc. etc.

the boots aladynsane requested are rather rare - i'd guess only a handful of people who post or even read here would have at least one from that list.
