I think we can all agree that the greatness of David Bowie is his music, a fairly pure sensory experience.....minus the cost of a compact disc.
But one thing strikes me as odd about this forum and that is the supposed 'need' to collect beyond the completed acquisition of his music.
For instance, what does one actually gain from 'owning' a CD copy of ChangesTwoBowie other than satisfying a need to 'have' or to 'own'?
Surely the 'collector' as opposed to the 'completist' operates under the jurisdiction of needless consumerism.....or materialism....or something very odd.
But all is not lost.
