There like first pressing of albums or early 45 singles. They ain't meant for playing.

LaserDiscs are slightly different. Serious Moonlight and Glass Spider may be the highest possble quality available - better than the early DVDs? Also, Bowie did a Commentary track with Nic Roeg for TMWFTE which will likely never appear anywhere again.

LDs are also cool cuz you can just stick them with your record collection.
