The Epitaph of David Jones

by Libby Reis.
The hush of the crowd was all he needed.
His world swept into the warp of nonreality.
They young man looked with "sorrow" glazed eyes.
His mind entered into his daydream, as moondust fell over his soul.

He could never end what he began.
It evolved from the first song he sang.
Lost in time was his body and mind.
Regressed in his aura, he could not find.

His heart quickened with the beat of another man.
Who held him in a state of rapture.
The young man succumbed to him with angelic grace.
The struggle within ended with the final attack.
Frightened David Jones died as the lights went black.
