Teenage Wildlife

Ziggy won't leave the bed because
     I've never had sushi and
doubtless I
will ever see the southern sun
dixie culture skids
went to sleep
     before now
all I ever do is get out and
     pretend to
fall in
     the days are too even
     hair is dirty dreams
to wonderful for her starved expression

I offer to swab off the sheen
that dismembers
     my crime and woe
     man says to me,
"and the storm..."

They steal away on air
